Now that Toya Wright’s pregnant, fans of the author, businesswoman, and reality star are wondering who the father is. Her most famous marriage (and divorce) was to rapper Lil Wayne, who she met when she was 12. They are co-parents to their daughter Reginae Carter, who they had as teen parents. The 33-year-old Wright is now suspected of having a baby with sports manager Robert Rushing, who also goes by “Red.”

Not much is known about Rushing publicly, but he does have a clothing brand called “2commasclothing” and is also CEO of a travel and lifestyle business called RUSH. He has 6,491 followers on Instagram and posts anything about sports, family, and Kevin Hart.

It seems his mother, Shirley Rushing, might just be Robert Rushing’s favorite parent; we couldn’t help but notice that she is everywhere on his Instagram.

Toya’s Pregnancy Video
Toya Wright released a video that looked like it was about teen pregnancy (which included a visit from a counselor), but really it was just a cute way to include her daughter Reginae Carter in announcing Wright’s baby news.
“She’s keeping her public appearances to a minimum right now because she’s beginning to show,” the source said to BET. “People just thought she was getting thick, but she’s carrying for two now.”
There’s no exact confirmation about the father’s identity, but after all the hardship that Wright has gone through, a baby is just the good news that she needs. There haven’t been any public sightings of Rushing and Wright together on either of their social media pages. This means that he either isn’t the father or they’re keeping a low profile until a later date. Either way, Wright and her family are happy about the newest addition to the family and we can’t wait to learn more about the baby—and the father!
